FINAL FRAME is a short film following a film editor facing a pivotal decision between advancing his career and preserving his most important relationship.
Directors Andrew Nuno & Adrian Nuno stated “The idea came from personal conversations we had about what we’d be willing to give up to “make it” and what we could lose in the process. For the first day of filming in September 2024, our team worked together to film across seven locations in Chicago and pulled off over twelve costume changes. We wrapped up the shoot with two days of shooting in November that involved filming in an apartment and then filming in a studio space. At both locations, we were fighting against the clock to get what we needed. It served as a beautiful reminder as to why we fell in love with film making to begin with as we were witnesses once again to the magic that comes from creative collaboration. It is our hope that Final Frame invites audiences to ponder about their own tug of war between their relationships with loved ones and their personal aspirations and what matters most at the end of the day”.
